With new product launches most weeks, a growing omnichannel offering and significant peak sales periods, Represent needed a specialist logistics solution to meet its strategic goals. To achieve this, Bleckmann worked closely with Represent to develop a bespoke logistics setup – from adapting the warehouse equipment to adjusting shift patterns to enable next-day delivery. “We’ve really appreciated how proactive they’ve been in proposing and implementing well-adapted solutions that deliver from both an operational and customer experience perspective,” continues Jimmy. “What’s more, they’ve enabled us to reduce our unit shipping costs year on year – a great achievement.”

As well as supporting Represent’s expansion in over 125 countries, covering the UK, the US, Europe and beyond, Bleckmann has been instrumental in expanding the brand’s omnichannel strategy. Bricks and mortar retail currently accounts for around 30% of the brand’s revenue, with several store openings planned in the coming years. And the flexibility of Bleckmann’s multi-purpose warehouses is key to streamlining fulfilment.
“We’ve been incredibly impressed by Bleckmann’s ability to pick and pack 5,000 units of individual D2C orders at the same time as, say, fulfilling 15,000 units of palletised deliveries for our retail customers,” adds Jimmy. “To accommodate this, Bleckmann’s Business Intelligence department works closely with us on demand forecasting to ensure they have all the resources they need, even during peak sales periods. This allows us to get products out as quickly as possible, cementing stronger customer relationships.”
The partnership with Represent has grown rapidly since it began. From an initial 1,750 m² of operating space in 2022 (950 m² at our site in Grobbendonk, Belgium, and 800 m² at our warehouse in Lutterworth, UK), Bleckmann now operates 5,660 m² for Represent (3,160 m² in Belgium and 2,500 m² in the UK). This expansion has been made possible by detailed planning and proactive cooperation. And with Represent gaining more and more loyal fans around the world, this growth looks set to continue in the coming years.
And since Represent has a goal of opening two stores per year over the next five years, Bleckmann’s omnichannel expertise will also continue to be a key asset. “Bleckmann has been essential in developing our brand’s physical presence in retail stores across Europe and beyond – helping us to effortlessly manage the different demand requirements of D2C and B2B fulfilment,” concludes Jimmy. “As a key strategic partner, they deliver excellent cost-effectiveness alongside uncompromising levels of customer service.”
