Last week Bleckmann opened her newest site. With VTech as her customer, Bleckmann has moved to the new logistics hotspot in the Netherlands; T-Port Logistic Campus. The campus is part of the larger XL Businesspark Twente. Bleckmann has rented a distribution centre with a storage area of more than 43,000 sq m from which the products of VTech will be distributed throughout Europe.
“In January of this year we started the construction of this new DC. The fact that we are up and running within half a year is a big achievement,” says Nourdyn El Moussati project leader for Bleckmann.
Realization of this project came about in close collaboration between VTech and Bleckmann with optimal support from several partners, including Heylen Group and Timing.
“Employees and team members of the various parties have done everything possible to be able to go live in time. We are therefore extremely proud of all who have contributed to this. Definitely worth celebrating,” says Johan Milliau CEO of Bleckmann.
