Patagonia has appointed Bleckmann as its logistics service provider from April 2020.
Patagonia is an outdoor apparel company and certified B-Corporation. The company is recognized internationally for its commitment to product quality and environmental activism. It has selected Bleckmann to support a European growth strategy and manage end-to-end fulfillment and omni-channel logistics.
Bleckmann is a market leader in supply chain solutions for the fashion and lifestyle verticals. For Patagonia, Bleckmann will be performing omni-channel warehousing activities and will provide a wide scope of distribution services to meet the expectations of Patagonia’s wholesale, retail and e-commerce customers. All operations will be managed from a new distribution center (DC) in Bergen op Zoom, the Netherlands.
To accommodate for current operational needs and further growth of Patagonia’s business, the new facility will offer 22,000 sq m storage capacity and will allow Bleckmann to create at least 50 new vacancies.
